We've been doing UI design for several games in recent years. Along with the graphical assets we've been responsible for developing wireframes and the user flow for the overall game experience.
We regularly create and animate icons for use in our games and website designs. We are using animation to support and enhance the user experience, to enable users and clients in their communication with each other.
Sometimes we are practicing our animation skills with a public service message. This is one on the importance of good editorial design: Be nice to your text & your text will be nice to your audience.

In several projects we were not directly responsible for the UI design but we implemented and animated UI buttons, panels and visual effects inside Unity.
In this example we created the complete user flow and wireframes, all the animations in-engine for characters and UI and we made sure that the implementation of the UI and graphics matched the documentation by making adjustments directly inside Unity.

We've been working a lot with Unity for the last 3 years and it got us hooked. We started building our own side project during our free time, learning the basics of C#. At the same time this was a first for us diving into pixel art.
The rest was traditional frame by frame animation in Aseprite and looooong hours trying to understand why the Raycasting is not working %#!@#...

GIZ Germany commissioned a total of 7 serious mobile games as a vehicle to reach the youth in Yemen, unreachable to NGOs since the 2015-present conflict.
Each application funnels different positive messages such as overcoming tribal conflict, encourage disarmament and support female empowerment.
The ongoing project, currently spanning 4 years, is being developed in close co-creation with the consultancy team in Sana'a, whom we keep daily contact with. Our responsibilities range from the co-creation of the game design documents, to animation and UI design.
Local Yemeni artists handled illustration and sound design to guarantee the relevance of the project.

We give priority to projects that initiate positive transformation at a societal, cultural, and environmental level. We understand we are responsible for the work we create, so we question stereotypes, challenge social norms and strive for fair representation.
